We celebrated our love story; now it's your turn.
My husband Brick and I met in college and were each other's "first love". When graduation was near, our goals for the next step didn't align and we parted ways; but over a 10-year separation, we always held the other in our heart. We met again by chance in 1996, and the second chapter of our romance began. We've now been married 27 years and raised two wonderful young adults. We're ready to help others celebrate their love story where I can use my design and marketing skills, and Brick can drive his tractor and be an engineering genius. We are a great team!
We bought this Snohomish County property in late 2017, and it needed LOVE. After spending 12 months renovating Starlight Cottage and clearing bramble and debris from the property, the magic of the meadows came alive. We decided to make something wonderful happen with the 7 acres of fields and evergreen trees encircling Starlight Cottage, and thus began the dream of Starlight Meadows. Our goal is to create a lovely space where joyful connections are made through weddings, group events, classes, and retreats. We opened Starlight Cottage to short-term renters in October of 2018 (www.RusticChicRentals.com) and received rave reviews. We've spent the last several years working on the barn and meadow areas, planting a romantic landscape, creating the Star Pavilion reception space, and collecting furniture and décor treasures. After creating dreamy weddings for family and friends; we opened officially for events summer of 2022. Join us on this journey as we strive to create a charming space that shines for everyone who visits. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to track our progress!
