Wedding Pricing

Your Starlight Meadows event includes access to  the "Starlight Store": a treasure trove of free table décor (chargers, candlesticks, etc.) and rentable items (vintage sofas, cocktail furniture, etc.).  We offer two free style consultations to help create your dream look, and our ​tiered pricing allows event size and rental fee to change as needed. ​

​May - September: Barn, Star Pavilion, Meadow, and Cottage open for events.  

October - April: Cottage open as short-term rental for family and small business groups through www.RusticChicRentals.com)

We offer a rare opportunity to stay overnight for a relaxed pre and post wedding experience.  ​
With this add-on, you get lodging at Starlight Cottage for up to 11 overnight guests. During the day, the home becomes "Wedding Central": work on site with family and friends to finish wedding projects, choose a flexible time for ceremony rehearsal, host a country-casual rehearsal dinner, and start set up early (weather permitting), all on the lovely Starlight Meadows property.  At night, your overnight guests will be very comfortable; Starlight Cottage has earned over 100 Five Star reviews from
​short-term rental guests since it opened in September 2018.

Choose from several antique sofas, side tables, rugs and lighting to create a seating vignette optimized for beautiful pictures and comfortable lounging.

Give guests a festive and shady place to gather before dinner: 3 rustic wine barrel tables with attached fringed and lighted market umbrellas, and a rustic wine barrel bar.

Espresso Bar 
Renting the Starlight Espresso stand includes charming barista, supplies for common coffee drinks, plus 2 signature coffees OR 2 signature Italian sodas.

​(For 100 guests this comes to ~$350 for 2 hours.)

We are happy to create a custom package for a family or corporate event, weekend seminar, or retreat.  Prices depend on the season and number of guests.  Please contact us with your event details and we will respond with a proposal.

Starlight Store Access
Peak at our treasures during your venue tour.  Once event date is secured, you'll receive the electronic catalog of ​the hundreds of items available to borrow ​or rent, and can reserve them from your home!


Policies
Venue Rental Hours: The Starlight Barn, Meadow and Star Pavilion are available for rental May - September. The rental time period is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. on Sundays and week days. Opportunities for elopements are available upon request. Music and microphone use must stop one hour before end of rental period due to noise ordinances.
Reservations & Deposits: A signed rental agreement and 25% of the rental rate will reserve your date. The balance of the rental fee is due 4 months before event. 
Alcohol Policy: Limited Alcoholic beverages may be served by a licensed and insured caterer or bartender:  wine, beer, champagne and choice of 1) hard cider OR 2) two signature cocktails.  Alcohol service must end 1 hour before close of event (9pm on weekends).
Catering: A service area is provided for the caterers adjacent to the Star Pavilion tent.  If needed, caterers can also prepare in The Starlight Cottage kitchen, which is ~200 feet from the tent.  
Music:  Whether it is a DJ or live band, we request the music stay at ~70 decibels.  This insures your guests have a great dance sound but can still talk to each other without shouting.  
​Rehearsal: A one-hour rehearsal the week of your wedding is included.
Pets: Starlight Meadows is pet-friendly, but the property is not fenced. Couples are welcome to include their pet in the ceremony, but it must be leashed or crated afterward for safety.
Overnight Stays:  Starlight Cottage can be booked separately for overnight stays with a signed lease, additional overnight fee, and security deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do i reserve a date for my event?
Contact us through the above form or by calling 206-390-2902.  We will discuss your event, look at available dates and initiate a contract.  Once the contract is signed and your deposit received, your event booking is finalized.
What is included in the venue fee?
Included in the basic Venue Fee is use of the Meadow and Cottage for the time specified in your event contract, use of our reception dining tables and chairs.  If you choose, you may also have 2 style consultations with the owner and access to the Starlight Store, the curated table décor and rentable furniture vintage collection of the venue.  Use of these unique and popular items saves wedding families substantial time and money when styling and staging your event.  Additional fees apply if you are interested in having an antique car available for photo opportunities, or would like to rent The Cottage for overnight guests.
WHAT HAPPENS IF the weather does not cooperate?
Our Star Pavilion is 30' x 60' wide, and can offer sun/rain protection for up to 100 guests.  With some creative planning, the ceremony can also held under the tent as our arches are movable.  For hot sunny days we can install a misting system and have 2 commercial fans, for cold days we have 3 propane patio heaters.
HOW DO I RESERVE THE ENTIRE PROPERTY FOR MULTIPLE DAYS IF i WANT TO CREATE A "wEDDING wEEKEND"?
Starlight Meadows believes the days leading up to and after your Big Day should be fun and memorable too.  That's why we offer a rare overnight option for friends and family; reserve the The Starlight Cottage on the property (for an additional fee), and you can house up to 11 guests for 3 days or more. This creates a relaxing environment to realize your event dreams and plans as you are on site and can determine your own rehearsal time and begin set up at your leisure (weather permitting).   Your event date must be booked on a weekend with no other scheduled events, which means you need to plan in advance to take advantage of this unique option.
