Wedding Pricing

Your Starlight Meadows event includes access to  the "Starlight Store": a treasure trove of free table décor (candlesticks, table numbers, vases etc.) and rentable items (chargers, vintage sofas, rugs, cocktail furniture) and more.  We offer a free style consultation to help create your dream look, and our ​tiered pricing allows event size and rental fee to change as needed. ​

​May - September: Star Pavilion, Barn Meadow, and Cottage open for events.  

October - April: Cottage open as short-term rental for family and small business groups through www.RusticChicRentals.com.

Standard Items Included in Rental:
  • Our Focus:  We book only one wedding per weekend (typically a Saturday) to allow focus on your event, your dreams, and your vision.  Venue Staff is on site and easily available to assist when needed.
  • Ceremony: Choice of 2 ceremony locations and 2 arch options (florals not included). 100 white resin folding chairs available for meadow ceremony.
  • Reception: 30' x 60' Tent, Ten 8' x 3' wooden farm tables (each seats 8-10), 100 white Chiavari chairs and a selection of white/rustic wood statement tables  for dessert, guest book, sweetheart dining, and more.  Table/chair setup and breakdown is included; your team manages all décor installation and removal.
  • Bridal Rooms: 3 picture-perfect bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for bride and bridesmaids to get ready.
  • Groom Rooms: 1000 sq. ft. bonus room plus 1 bedroom and bathroom for groom and groomsmen to get ready; includes separate entrance, mini bar/refrigerator, air hockey table and Xbox games.
  • Unique Photo Opportunities available throughout the 7-acre property to capture your memories.
  • Guest Comfort: We offer a misting system on the tent exterior  and 2 industrial fans for extreme heat, and 4 patio heaters for cooler weather at no extra charge.
  • Sound: DJs must be hired from our Preferred Vendor List and follow venue sound guidelines. If you decide to not hire a DJ , ​Starlight Meadows provides for free: a PA with mics for meadow ceremonies, Bluetooth-enabled patio speakers on the Barn and in the Star Pavilion, and a refurbished 1945 radio with new speakers, Bluetooth, USB capabilities, and 1/8" audio jack. No live bands are allowed after 7:00pm unless they are acoustic.
  • Fire Pit and Smore's Station: Gather round for conversation and one last treat at our custom S'mores Station.
  • Parking:  Ample free parking in grassy meadows on south side of property; a Parking Attendant is included.
  • "Starlight Express"  Free rides in our 4-person golf cart to restrooms or parking. 
  • Catering Station: Hand washing sink, stainless steel counter, electricity, and protection from sun, wind, and rain.
  • Guest Restrooms:  Running water sinks and flushing toilets are available in a clean and fresh 2-stall outdoor unit, complete with electricity, fan, and mirrors.​
  • ​Choose Free Décor Online and during Personal Styling Session:  Couples will receive a password for online access to the Starlight Store's hundreds of free and rentable items, and a receive a free on-site Style Session to help create your dream look, ($500-$1000 value.)

Add-On Amenities

Stay overnight ​for a relaxed pre and post-wedding experience.   With our Wedding Central Weekend add-on package, you get lodging at Starlight Cottage for up to 11 overnight guests for 2-5 nights on the lovely Starlight Meadows property.  During the day the Cottage is home base to:
  • Unload, unpack, and organize supplies a day ahead
  • Finish wedding projects or DIY florals
  • Choose a flexible time for ceremony rehearsal
  • Host a country-casual rehearsal dinner on Cottage lawn ($100 fee per round table with 8 chairs; includes linens and faux table flowers)
  • Start set up Friday on items not affected by wind/moisture/dust
At night, your overnight guests will be very comfortable in the 3400 sq. ft. home with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Starlight Cottage has over 250 Five Star Reviews since opening  as a short-term rental in September 2018.  (No smoking, parties, pets allowed.)

Starlight Store & Rental Items

After receiving a signed contract and deposit, couples will receive a password for online access to view the hundreds of items in the Starlight Store inventory.  
  • Includes one style consultation on how to use our inventory to realize your vision
  • Large collection of table and design décor: over 500 brass, glass, and wooden candlesticks, vases, votives, runners, chandeliers, hurricane lamps and other antique/rustic items
  • 3 collections of chargers/placemats to add color and texture to dining tables
  • White painted furniture: Sweetheart Table, Gift Table, 2 small tables for programs or favors
  • Antique wood furniture: 2 armchairs, 1 large farm table, 1 medium table, 1 small table, and more
  • 2 White iron peacock chairs with white cushions
  • Antique school desk and "empty" chair for guest book or memory table
  • For an additional fee, choose from our upholstered antique furniture collection to create a seating vignette for photos or a "speak easy" lounge, or give guests a festive place for cocktail hour with our Wine Barrel Cocktail Collection.

Policies

Venue Rental Hours: The Starlight Barn, Meadow and Star Pavilion are available for rental May - September. The rental time period begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts for 13 hours. Opportunities for 3-hour elopements are available upon request. 
Reservations & Deposits: A signed rental agreement and 33% pre-payment of the rental rate will reserve your date. The balance of the rental fee is due in 2 payments: 6 and 3 months before the event. 
Alcohol Policy: Alcoholic beverages must be served by a licensed and insured caterer or bartender.  If hiring a bartender they must be on our Required Vendor List .  Service is limited to wine, beer, champagne PLUS the choice of 1) hard cider, OR 2) two PRE-MIXED signature cocktails. No open bottles of hard alcohol are allowed anywhere on property. Alcohol service must not exceed a total of 6 hours and end 1 hour before the close of event.
Music:  Music, any amplified sound and loud voices must end promptly at 9:50pm to be compliant with Snohomish County noise ordinances; sub woofers are not allowed.  DJs must be hired from our Preferred Vendor List and follow venue sound guidelines. If you do not want a hire a DJ, for smaller events, ​a PA with mics are provided for meadow ceremonies, and the Barn and Star Pavilion have Bluetooth-enabled patio speakers, or use the cool refurbished 1945 radio with new speakers, Bluetooth, USB capabilities, and 1/8" audio jack.  Appropriate sound level will be determined by the venue, so dancefloor guests can enjoy a danceable sound and seated guests can converse without shouting.  We do offer free "Silent Disco" headphones for guests who want to turn up the volume while dancing!  To help preserve the tranquility of the neighborhood, no EDM music is allowed; if you need a nightclub sound, then we are not the right venue for you. No live bands are allowed after 7:00pm, unless they are acoustic.
Event Coordinator:  Couples are required to hire a professional wedding coordinator from our Required Vendor List to completely manage the ~30 hours needed: from the rehearsal the day before, to set up and through teardown.   A list of Required Coordinator Duties is available.
Insurance:  A $2m event insurance policy is required with Starlight Meadows and Country STR LLC listed as the additional insured. This is surprisingly affordable, especially through your homeowners or renters insurance company.
Catering: Couples may choose their own caterer.  A service area that includes electricity, overhead cover, stainless steel work surfaces, hot/cold running and filtered water is provided adjacent to the Star Pavilion tent.   Caterers must remove all trash upon departure.
​Rehearsal: A one-hour rehearsal the week of your wedding is included.
Pets: Starlight Meadows is pet-friendly, but the property is not fenced. Couples are welcome to include their pet in the ceremony and photos, but pets are not allowed in Starlight Cottage and must be leashed or crated afterward for their safety.

Corporate or Special Event Pricing

We are happy to create a custom package for a family or corporate event, weekend seminar, or retreat.  Prices depend on the season and number of guests.  Please contact us with your event details and we will respond with a proposal.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do i reserve a date for my event?
Contact us through the above form or by calling 206-390-2902.  We will discuss your event, look at available dates and initiate a contract.  Once the contract is signed and your deposit received, your event booking is finalized.
What is included in the venue fee?
Included in the basic Venue Fee is use of the Meadow and Cottage for the time specified in your event contract, use of our reception dining tables and chairs.  If you choose, you may also have a style consultation with the owner and access to the Starlight Store, the curated table décor and rentable furniture vintage collection of the venue.  Use of these unique and popular items saves wedding families substantial time and money when styling and staging your event.  Additional fees apply if you are interested in having an antique car available for photo opportunities, or would like to rent The Cottage for overnight guests.
WHAT HAPPENS IF the weather does not cooperate?
Our Star Pavilion is 30' x 60' wide, and can offer sun/rain protection for up to 100 guests.  With some creative planning, the ceremony can also held under the tent as our arches are movable.  For hot sunny days we can install a misting system and have 2 commercial fans, for cold days we have 3 propane patio heaters.
HOW DO I RESERVE THE ENTIRE PROPERTY FOR MULTIPLE DAYS IF i WANT TO CREATE A "wEDDING wEEKEND"?
Starlight Meadows believes the days leading up to and after your Big Day should be fun and memorable too.  That's why we offer a rare overnight option for friends and family; reserve the The Starlight Cottage on the property (for an additional fee), and you can house up to 11 guests for 3 days or more. This creates a relaxing environment to realize your event dreams and plans as you are on site and can determine your own rehearsal time and begin set up at your leisure (weather permitting).   Your event date must be booked on a weekend with no other scheduled events, which means you need to plan in advance to take advantage of this unique option.
