,Helping to create Brad and Amy's dream micro wedding was a gift from heaven.  The joy that surrounded the planning and execution of their event gave everyone involved a lift.  The size of their group (28 guests) allowed us to get really creative and adventurous with special details.  We created a "Love and Light Tent" to enhance the dining experience, recommended the most wonderful florist who created the fairy tale flower arch and had fun giving our patio some "lavender love" to make every inch of our property a magical place to make memories and take gorgeous pictures in.  Flowers by Flori, photos by Alisha Trahms Photography and BrookeAndersonPhotography.

Brooke and Josh held a small Spring ceremony in the San Juan Islands for their wedding, and hosted a beautiful beach-inspired reception for friends and family at Starlight Meadows several months later.  We helped them create a grand entrance riding in our 1918 Dodge that surprised and delighted guests. (Can't you just hear the "Awoooga" horn as they came up the hill?)  The warm and sunny day created the perfect mood for the love and laughter of friends and family to fully celebrate their union.  Brooke and Josh, thank you for bringing the sparkle of your love to our magical meadows!

The wedding of Kaitlyn and Chris was one for the books.  These  dear family friends met in high school, weathered the trauma of a serious illness, graduated college together, and over this 10-year span developed a lasting love and the most delightful circle of friends.  Both families jumped into creating this event with joy, dedication, and even hard labor to help us install over 300 flowers and shrubs for our first wedding season. Their love and laughter filled our meadows and our hearts to the very brim.  How lucky we are to be chosen to host this beautiful union!
  My husband and I got married at Starlight Meadows and it was such a wonderful experience. We had a small ceremony of about twenty people. Connie was so responsive and incredibly helpful during the planning process. She has a beautiful eye for decorating. Of course it rained and Connie and Brick saved the day, making their outdoor venue suitable to continue on. We were able to use their 1918 Dodge Roadster, the beautiful barn and the whimsical lanterns for photos. Connie supplied most of the decorations and was so sweet. She really has a gift and truly cares about making your day special. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for a more intimate ceremony! I'm incredibly happy with our experience here!

Amanda and Sean are such a special couple and were our first official elopement ceremony!  Amanda was so sweet and deserving of a magical day; we couldn't believe the sun early in the day disappeared into a downpour by 5pm.  She really wanted her ceremony in front of Starlight Barn instead of under a tent, so my handy husband Brick created a last-minute rustic backdrop INSIDE the barn so they could stay dry while family watched from under the safety of a tent.  With the help of a wonderful Maid of Honor who held the umbrella above them in-between photos, and a talented photographer, they made the most of the day and still had many beautiful photos to show for their 3 hours at Starlight Meadows.  Their love and resiliency filled the afternoon meadow with joy and laughter; a true demonstration of how how they light up anyone who meets them, and that their future together is bright.
"The venue is beautiful with so much charming detail. Everywhere you look there’s a place for a beautiful photo.  We rented two of their vintage cars, one of which drove me up to the aisle to meet my groom! They were great crowd pleasers and made for beautiful photos! And aside from this beautiful and unique venue, you also get Connie. Everything that makes Starlight Meadows amazing starts with her. All of the love and passion she put into her work really shined on our big day.  Our families are still talking about how beautiful and unique it was."

Jill and Jon are a light and love-filled couple who live out of state and chose Starlight Meadows for their "destination wedding" for 20 guests.  It was an honor, but secretly we wondered if our sweet and rustic meadows could deliver on the expectations of a destination wedding, but we were determined to deliver.  After the contract was signed, Jill told me they wanted a "Downton Abby" theme; how does one turn a 60' x 30" tent into a Lounge and Dining space reminiscent of an Edwardian English Manor?  Their pictures show the incredible results; Jill said her "knees buckled" when she saw what we created. Joseph and Amy are such a fun couple; their love and passion was easy for all to see.  They'd been together for years, and Joseph wanted to do something big for Amy after the pandemic.  He approached Starlight Meadows asking if he could throw a "surprise" wedding for her...and of course we were all in!  Joseph changed his mind and eventually Amy was brought into the planning process; her eye for beauty and style is obvious.  We are glad they chose us and took time from their busy lives to fully celebrate their union. Michaela and Jake were so joyful about their union...even during a record-breaking heat wave.  Their love brought fresh air, energy, and joy to all who attended.  We've known Michaela since she was 2 years old and loved seeing her shine so beautifully on this special day.  It was truly a family affair with sister in law Liane (@IvyandBirchDesign) creating wildflower explosions and styling the reception, and others helping to source the glorious  colored vintage goblets that sparkled at every table.  After Michaela's 3 brothers took a turn on the dance floor with her, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. 2020 was a lonely year for many of us, and in October we decided to experiment with having a few friends over for a socially-distanced outdoor concert on the Starlight Meadows property.  You won't see a big crowd as each family was 10-20 ft apart, but we managed to have fun anyway.  Thanks to the talented Sundae & Mr. Goessl for their jazzy vintage tunes!
